A Tale Of Two Hoodies - a controversial painting by artist/activist Michael D’Antuono.

Inspired by the Trayvon Martin case, this painting symbolizes the travesty of racially profiling innocent children and how present day prejudices affect policy.

This is POWERFUL!

ohh how cute….NOT. does ANYONE realize that he was NOT a small child?! he was 17 or 18. he was NOT completely innocent, he had a history and he wasn’t sweetly offering the cop skittles. also, Zimmerman WASN’T EVEN A COP! i am not at all condoning what Zimmerman did, i think human life is a gift and nobody has the right to take that away, and yes he abused what little power he had. however, people are taking this WAY too far and nobody is looking at both sides of the story, and why? because nobody wants to be labeled a “racist”. well, news for everyone: JUST BECAUSE TRAYVON WAS BLACK DOESNT MEAN WE’RE RACIST FOR SAYING HE WASN’T COMPLETELY INNOCENT. we talk so much about forgetting color that we start overlooking the other end of the spectrum because we’re so afraid of the word “racist”. get over it, and judge someone for their actions, not their race. and at this point it goes both ways.

I spent practically all day riding my motorcycle

and i LOVED it. haha i could ride that thing forever. unfortunately, I ran out of gas and so my poor dad who raced this morning (run 5, bike 29, run 5) had to push it about a little over half a mile to the nearest gas station…not a fun time for him. and it probably didn’t help my case that this was the third time this has happened to me this spring…lol. Anyways, I rode my motorcycle for about 2 hours today, and a little over 2 hours yesterday, and it’s been so beautiful out and i just want another million years of this and then maybe i will be happy with how much motorcycle riding I have done. I swear I can’t wait to ride forever.
